A native of Hutchinson, Kansas, he is a graduate of Kansas State University (B.S., 2000) and the University of Kansas School of Law (J.D., 2003). During law school, he was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Dispute Resolution and Creditors Rights. He also served as the Business Manager for the Kansas Law Review. He was admitted to the Nebraska Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Omaha Bar Association and Nebraska Bar Association.

Ryan has a multi-specialty practice that focuses in the areas of corporate law, finance, real estate, technology, and health care employment. Specifically, Ryan's experience includes:

Corporate Law and Finance

• Creation of all types of business entities and the structuring of complex partnership arrangements and joint venture arrangements
• Advising clients in regards to all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including the tax ramifications associated with the same
• Advising clients on issues pertaining to capital raising, including compliance with securities regulations
• Drafting complex private placement memorandums and related offering documents for large capital raises
• Representing borrowers and lenders with respect to complex commercial lending transactions
• Advising buyers and sellers with respect to complex, world-wide commercial procurement agreements

Health Care Employment

• Representing physicians across the country with respect to their employment agreements and other matters related to their employment
• Analyzing the financial and legal ramifications of partnership opportunities for physicians
• Assisting health care institutions with respect to employee relations and corporate governance

Real Estate

• Representing clients with respect to the acquisition and sale of multi-residential and commercial buildings
• Advising clients in regards to all aspects of commercial leases
• Assisting clients with debt restructuring

Technology

• Advising clients in regards to all aspects of licensing and maintenance agreements
• Advising clients with respect to protection of intellectual property
• Assisting clients with joint development and distribution agreements.
